Drag an app into Pearcleaner or use its Finder extension, inspect the proposed related files, and decide what should actually be deleted. It also includes broader maintenance and software-management features, but its core use is a transparent, review-first uninstall workflow.

Pearcleaner’s project is currently on hold, with the maintainer stating that active development and releases have stopped indefinitely. Its current version can still be useful, but compatibility and security-sensitive cleanup decisions should be checked carefully before relying on it as a long-term system utility.
